Roberto Contreras

Mr. Contreras has been in the surfacing industry since 1987 and has made a name for himself as a respected entrepreneur. Mr. Contreras has founded and owned several highly successful companies, including CSC North America and Cosentino North America and increased sales from $0 to $300 million. He is currently the President and CEO of St. Christopher Holdings and DC Partners; a privately-owned holding company, founded in 2009.


His accomplishments include: Receiving a national & international recognition for his business accomplishments, Time Magazine’s award to Cosentino’s product Silestone as one of the Visions of Tomorrow in 2004, 2005 Cosentino was recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the US.


Mike Heylmun

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Heylmun has over 20 years of executive experience in the building and construction industry. He was a key partner in pioneering North American quartz surfacing market establishing industry and developing an organization to attain over $500 million in annual revenue. In 2000, amidst working with Roberto as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for C&C North America, he developed and managed the introduction of quartz surfacing into Home Depot competing a national rollout in 24 months. During that time he established and managed a national network of fabrication partners servicing home center, K&B, builder and commercial projects.


His accomplishments include: Took over the strategic planning role for Cosentino North America & developed the strategic plan to expand the warehouse distribution model for the US and Canada, successfully grew each channel to 67mm and 89mm respectively in 2012 as the Vice President of commercial and builder sales, in 2016, Mike joined Camp Construction as the COO and expanded the business which focused on multifamily from 4 states to 16 and annual revenues from 75mm to 125mm.


Doug Dillard

Mr. Dillard started working in the stone countertop industry in 2002 and worked with Moderno Core Executive team for nearly 20 years. He is a well-seasoned finance professional in a variety of industries including oil and gas, water utility, consumer credit, mortgage banking, real estate financing and development, kitchen and bath countertop fabrication and distribution. He has worked in companies such as Citibank, AquaSource, Cosentino, PKF Texas CPAs, and St. Christopher Holdings. During his time at Cosentino, Mr. Dillard managed large accounting operations with over $450MM in annual revenues at the peak levels. He also developed and manage all KPI reporting and Executive Meeting reports monthly as Director of F, P, &A )US Operations) for Cosentino.


His accomplishments include: two-time CFO of the Year finalist (2017 and 20188) with the Houston Business Journal, experienced as a technology consultant, installing ERPs in public accounting, certified in Microsoft Dynamics and Jet Reports, Six Sigma Green Belt certified, and recent member to University of Houston Real Estate Advisory Board.


Armin Deutsch

Mr. Deutsch has over 25 years of extensive experience in project management, construction, merchandising and purchasing. Mr. Deutsch previously worked for FORTUNE100 companies such as Home Depot, where he was responsible for purchasing volumes in excess of $1 billion annually as well as Cosentino USA. His diverse background includes managing construction projects in most major U.S. cities, as well as Canada.


Ben Szell

Ben Szell

Chief Product Officer

Mr. Szell has more than 30 years of experience in the installation of marble, ceramic, granite, and glass. His experience began in Hungary, Italy and Austria where Benjamin worked with old craftsman performing restoration work on National Historic buildings. Now, Mr. Szell is recognized in the industry as a subject matter expert on installation techniques and methods.


His accomplishments include: Began developing the tools for the GPTP (Gage Porcelain Tile Panel) in 2012 and by 2016, exclusively focused only on this market segment, and developed the respective tools required to transport, handle, fabricate and install the large format porcelain tiles.
