Roberto Zamora

General Manager, Denver

Roberto Zamora is the general manager of Moderno Porcelain Works in Denver, CO. For over 30 years, Roberto has been a noteworthy leader in the stone and surfaces industry. His career in stone first began at Acti Trading Corporation in San Antonio, TX where he was the operations manager for four years. During his time there he oversaw the interior cladding for the 1994 World Trade Center in Guadalajara, Mexico. This was one of the first high-profile projects where the material was fabricated in the United States and sold in Mexico. Roberto has acted as a supplier for the natural stone industry with slabs, tiles, and cut-to-size projects from his own plants. His companies were major suppliers for home centers and builders in south Texas. Driven by his appreciation for the manufactured surfaces industry, Roberto aims to be the top porcelain fabrication and installation location in Denver.

For over 8 years, Gray Peterson has been a noteworthy leader in the large-format porcelain space. You may know him from his work as the Sales Executive at Granite World of Colorado but Gray, can also be credited with the contributions to the Lowes Dekton program, creating partnerships with Colorado custom home builders, commercial contractors and general contractors as well a multitude of large-format porcelain commercial and residential projects in the Denver metropolitan area. Driven by passion, he takes pride in providing the best experience and finished product possible. As a Project Specialist his goals include raising awareness on the product and providing a high level of customer service and a quality finished product. He holds a Marketing Degree from Georgia Southern University. Gray currently lives in Aurora, Colorado. When he’s not keeping busy with work you can find Gray on the basketball court, a Georgia Bulldawgs game or fishing.

Though being very new to this industry, Xiomara has been very committed to tackling assignments and new challenges head on! Driven by creativity and the opportunity to grow as an employee, she takes pride in making the workplace as nice as possible, as well as creating good relationships with her peers. As her new position at Moderno Porcelain Works is being Showroom Coordinator, outside of work, Xiomara is recognized as a graduate student from the Interior Design School and an artist. As a Showroom Coordinator, her goal is to create a welcoming and refreshing experience for any clients or partners that walk through Moderno’s door.
