Moderno Porcelain Works Launches in Nashville, Tennessee
On Thursday, October 26th, the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee witnessed the grand opening of Moderno Porcelain Works’ newest location. This marks Moderno’s 15th establishment in the United States as part of its extensive expansion initiative.
The event showcased the industry’s enthusiasm for Moderno Porcelain Works’ innovative offerings. Drawing in a diverse audience, the grand opening attracted a mix of esteemed interior designers, builders, and vendors, highlighting the widespread appeal of large-format porcelain and sintered stone within the design and construction community. Guests enjoyed raffle prices, toured the showroom and fabrication center, and celebrated the opening with event cosponsors Mirage, Daltile, and Venosa.
To commemorate the celebration, Moderno utilized cutting-edge technology to craft custom porcelain guitar cutouts, elegantly symbolizing Nashville’s identity as a hub where music and beauty converge. These unique pieces were raffled off, delighting the lucky winners with porcelain art that echoes the spirit of the city.
Leading the Nashville team is General Manager, Shawn Baumbaugh. “Nashville is known for its creativity and that runs through everything we do,” continued Baumbagh. “Moderno is leading the way for designers, architects, and builders to use porcelain and sintered stone slabs in a way that hasn’t been possible before. We are excited to be a part of this talented community and cannot wait to see the new standard we will set together.”
The team eagerly anticipates setting new standards in collaboration with the talented community in Nashville. The Nashville team is a group of experienced professionals, including Darren Guess, Sales Manager; Jessica Sabo, Operations Manager; Nick Petrocci, Jared Paskwietz, Chris Carlisle, and Emily Turner, serving as Project Specialists; alongside Maria Hayden, the Showroom Coordinator.
The elegantly designed showroom spans 2,335 square feet, while the cutting-edge fabrication facility covers 15,281 square feet, offering an enchanting display of the extensive range of large-format porcelain and sintered stone slabs. This space is curated to inspire and facilitate the planning of porcelain applications of any scale, from showers, tubs, diverse flooring options, to captivating wall and ceiling coverings, stunning fireplace installations, and exquisite countertop displays.
Moreover, each Moderno location presents in-stock materials from various manufacturers, including the exclusive Xtone Moderno Series by Porcelanosa, boasting a unique color palette tailored specifically for Moderno.
Moderno Porcelain Works in Nashville is now open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 110 Airpark Center E, Nashville, TN 37217.
