Eric Winter serves as Moderno Porcelain Works’ general manager for its Central Texas location. With over 10 years of experience in the surface and roofing industries, he previously worked as director of national accounts for Architectural Surfaces Group and as national builder account manager for Architectural Granite and Marble. “Porcelain has always been a beautiful product with a bright future, but no one has been able to effectively get it installed and Moderno has figured that out,” says Winter. “To be able to work with a product and do cool installations like fireplaces for high-end homes is exciting.” Winter’s experience in surfacing began at Cosentino North America where he was first account manager and then builder surfaces manager. He prior handled residential sales for Barker Roofing and Sheet Metal. A native of Newton, Kan., Winter graduated with a B.A. degree in marketing from Kansas State. He resides in Austin, Texas, where enjoys golfing, fishing, and playing sand volleyball.
