Moderno Porcelain Works Launches in Charlotte, North Carolina

On Thursday, April 27th, Moderno opened its doors to over 100 guests who were treated to a Mexican food truck, hors d’oeuvre, hand-crafted beer, and a strolling champagne lady serving bubbly. The grand opening marked the Carolinas’ first fabrication and installation company specializing exclusively in large-format porcelain (5’x10’) slabs.
Charlotte’s showroom is an impressive 16,000 sq ft. and boasts large-format porcelain panels that are heat, stain, UV, and scratch resistant. The showroom quickly filled with architects, interior designers, custom home builders, and other industry peers to see the latest designs and innovations of large-format porcelain.
In celebration of our grand opening, four lucky winners took home prizes ranging from $3,000 to $500 including a custom $2,500 large-format porcelain coffee table, a $1,400 pedestal side table, a Kohler moxie speaker shower head, and Kohler smart water monitoring system.
