With over two decades of experience in the design industry, Jule Fazz embarked on a journey with Moderno that has transformed her into a dominating force in the porcelain world. Her career began as an interior décor consultant, assisting clients in selecting color charts, designers, and styles for their flooring. During this period, she honed her skills in prospecting and leading developments, quoting, blueprint reading, project management, and overseeing teams of up to 50 individuals. Her projects spanned residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural buildings, which taught her the significance of understanding specifications and finding the right products to meet her clients’ needs. This pivotal phase in Jule’s career revealed her exceptional talent for sales.

She has successfully executed numerous projects, including casinos and hospitals, but her true passion lies in kitchen and bath spaces. Over the past nine years, she has focused on these areas, recognizing the immense value they bring to clients, whether residential or commercial. According to Jule, “Investing in these spaces offers a tangible and lasting return on investment, as clients experience the satisfaction of improved functionality and aesthetics.”

Jule’s journey with Moderno began as a Project Specialists, and it presented its share of challenges. She was the sole salesperson in Phoenix, Arizona, and had to adapt to secure remarkable contracts. Her collaboration with the Phoenix general manager, David Flock, was instrumental in finding innovative solutions and overcoming hurdles. David added, “I can’t praise Jule enough. She’s a sales fireball, single-handedly raising awareness for Moderno’s large-format porcelain fabrication installation in Phoenix. In my 33 years in this industry, she stands as the finest salesperson I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.” She has since transitioned into a Sales Manager.

The introduction of large-format porcelain slabs was a game-changer in the industry. Although, it was initially challenging to convince people to adopt them, Jule’s dedication and sales made it possible. Jule’s unwavering belief in the future of porcelain panels remained a driving force. She proudly proclaimed, “I’m just another tool in the toolbox, to get things done for you.” Moderno Phoenix’s culture of openness and effective internal communication is one of her most cherished achievements. It enables the team to deliver the best service and quality to their clients, ensuring mutual success. During her time with Moderno, she has successfully worked with Century Communities and D.R Horton, one of Moderno’s largest contracts and the nation’s largest builders.

Outside her role at Moderno, Jule actively participates in professional organizations like the NBKA and ASID. She was nominated and served with the 2023 ASID board and was just voted again for 2024. Phoenix’s chapter being the largest in America. She holds a unique position on the board as a membership director, welcoming new designers, and builders in the area. This role allows her to connect with designers, builders, and other industry professionals, reinforcing her commitment to face-to-face networking.

Jule’s crowning achievement with Moderno has been winning over subdivisions and persuading clients to switch from competing products to Moderno’s solutions. Her dedication to the fabrication and installation of large-format porcelain garnered the attention of industry enthusiasts, proving her passion and expertise.
